Villa Bonita is based in Cala en Porter which boasts a perfect blend of untouched nature and vibrant amenities and is only 7km from the island’s airport.
The resort centre has 3 well stocked supermarkets, a medical centre and pharmacist. It is also host to a wide range of restaurants and bars where you can savour local delights. A visit to the mesmerizing Cova d’en Xoroi is a must; a unique cave bar, perched on the cliffs overlooking the sea.
With its golden sandy beaches (approximately 15 minutes’ walk) and crystal-clear turquoise waters, Cala en Porter beach is a perfect retreat for relaxing or, if you are feeling adventurous, snorkelling or kayaking. The beach has full amenities with public toilets, sun lounger and umbrella hire, along with a number of restaurants and a shop.
Villa Bonita is a gated detached villa around a 10 minute’s walk from the town centre. The fully enclosed mature private garden houses a private swimming pool with entry via Roman steps and a maximum depth of 1.8m. There is ample seating around the pool with sun loungers and garden sofas with parasols. There is a shaded porch area which gives direct access to the house. An outside dining area along with a wood-fired BBQ complete the outside.
2 bedrooms: Two spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms both with fitted wardrobes (1 x king size, 1 x twin).
2 modern bathrooms: One ensuite and one family bathroom both with WC, sink and shower cubicles.
Open plan living/kitchen area: Comfortable lounge area with a large sofa and smart TV. The villa hosts high speed internet suitable for multiple devices. There is a modern, well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, large American style fridge-freezer, toaster and kettle. Ceiling fans and floor fans keep this area cool.

We spent a week in this beautiful villa. From the moment we arrived the villa felt so homely and had everything we needed. We have two young children and they loved staying here. The pool and grounds the villa are on are gorgeous. The villa itself is very spacious, clean and has added bonuses of air conditioning and drinking tap. Small things like this saved us having to constantly go to the shops topping up on water. There is a stunning beach very close by (10-15 mins walk) and very central to restaurants and bars. Communication with Sarah, the owner, was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks again Sarah!
Just returned from 26 days and what a holiday it was, i can’t speak high enough for this fantastic villa. we were just a twosome so it was a perfect size but if you are a 2 + 2 or a foursome it’s just fantastic. perfect location, superb garden, magnificent pool, superb facilities, the villa has everything you need and nothing you don’t. A short walk to bars and restaurants and supermarkets, a great bus service into Mao a fair priced taxi service but the best bit is the beach…..whoa buddy just amazing, amazing, great view good beds (10 per bed per day) and a fantastic little bar with food called Rustic Bar and it is as stated but the people are just brilliant. so, this is my review and is subjective as any review is but if you are reading this then just simply pick your dates and book, don’t bother wasting time trying to find something better, you probably could but it would cost tons more and anyway your time is more valuable. Sarah has been the most fantastic host and Nigel the pool man incredibly helpful. to end…… whilst I was there I booked 6 weeks for 2025 so if you go to June/July I’m afraid that’s me and I’m not going to apologise.
Reviews are by definition subjective so this is ours, it is honest and truthful and I am pleased to post it and I ask you just to read to the end. Villa Bonita in beautifully formed, deceptively large both inside and out the villa itself is perfect for two couples or a family of 4 with all amenities available to make your stay is easy and worry free. outside the garden area is brilliant but you have to take a walk round to appreciate it (grab a lemon whilst you do for a drink later) with comfy seating a plenty and brollies and sunbeds to while away the day by the deceptively large pool for a dip to cool off all whilst being wrapped around by white walling to shield you from the world whilst someone cooks steak on the bbq for lunch and maybe you might hear a car go past. Honestly this place is idyllic, 5 minute walk from the bars and restaurants (some good some bad) but worth an explore especially Monday night about 10pm for a spot of music (other nights available) The beach is to die for and a must see, it’s a tricky walk down but there’s a car park at the bottom or use a taxi each way (7.5 door to door) you’ll figure it out. A lovely bar run by lovely people called Rustic Bar because it is, beds are just 10 per day each or lie on the sand for free. Why am I telling you this ?? because I want you to say mmmm this sounds like just what we are looking for and it is, in boat loads, it’s the biggest little secret in Cala En Porter, it’s just perfect or at least it was for us and so we give it 9.5 out of 10 , nowhere in the world is perfect but this comes damn close. I asked you to read to the end and suggest that if you are interested enough then don’t bother trying to find a better one, you probably can for more money, if you need a bigger one, move along, but if its just 4 of you go straight to booking and click, you will not be disappointed. the problem with this advice is you can’t book June or July, i’ve booked all that and I won’t apologise one bit. That’s how good I think Villa Bonita is. My personal view of course. based on 4 weeks June 2024 just my wife and myself sheer heaven.
