Terms & Conditions

Please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions before making a booking for Villa Bonita.

By paying the deposit for your rental, you agree to these terms and enter into a rental contract with the owner/property manager.

 

1. Booking Agreement:

These Terms & Conditions must be read and understood by the client before making a booking. Payment of the deposit signifies your agreement to these Terms & Conditions and the initiation of a rental contract with the owner/property manager.

 

2. Reservation and Deposit:

A reservation requires the deposit to be received within 72 hours. The deposit is 25% of the total rental cost. Deposits are non-returnable or transferable under any circumstances.

 

3. Balance Payment:

The remaining balance must be received no later than 12 weeks prior to arrival. Failure to pay the balance by the due date will result in booking cancellation, with the loss of all paid amounts. All payments are to be made via bank transfer.

 

4. Cancellations:

Cancellations must be in writing and sent via email. Cancellations after the deposit payment result in the loss of the deposit. Cancellations less than 12 weeks before arrival result in the loss of the full rental amount.

 

5. Insurance:

Adequate travel insurance is compulsory for all guests. The property owner is not liable for any circumstances preventing arrival, and insurance should cover all eventualities.

 

6. Guest Information:

Guests must provide names, ages, passport copies, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. Any changes may incur an administration fee. Spanish Law requires us to collect and present this information to the local police.

 

7. Property Regulations:

All properties are non-smoking. The swimming pool is used at guests’ own risk, with children supervised and non-swimmers wearing buoyancy aids.

 

8. Check-In/Check-Out:

Check-in is at 4pm, and check-out is by 10am.. Late departures may incur a fee if not agreed upon.

 

9. Noise and Local Laws:

The owner is not responsible for noise outside the property. Local laws mandate quiet hours from midnight to 7 am.

 

10. Service Interruptions:

There can be some interruptions to services in Spain such as water, electric or wifi .The owner is not liable for interruptions or breakdowns but will ensure any disruptions will be rectified as soon as possible.

 

11. Security Deposit:

A 200 Euro security deposit is required before arrival, refundable upon departure if the property is left clean and undamaged with all rubbish removed from the villa.. If any major breakages have occurred, extra cleaning is required or there is any damage to the property the costs to rectify this may be deducted from your security deposit.

 

12. No Pets Policy:

Strictly no pets are allowed in any property.

 

13. Liability and Force Majeure:

The owner will not be under any liability for any injury, death, inconvenience, damage, loss, accident, delay or additional expense how so ever caused, occasioned to or incurred by any client or any other person due to circumstances beyond their control or in the absence of negligence by them.

 

14. Client Expenses:

At no time will the owner be liable to cover the costs of clients flights, other accommodation, car hire, parking, travel or any other expenses that the client may incur due to any circumstances whatsoever. The client has made a booking with the owner for accommodation only. Any other services booked by the clients are totally separate from their accommodation booking.

15. Booking Cancellation by Owner:

The owner reserves the right to cancel any booking at anytime if by reason of war, political unrest, strikes, unavailability of accommodation or otherwise they deem it essential to do so.

16. Taxes:

Any compulsory taxes will have to be paid by any person that is required to pay them by law. These taxes can change or be introduced at any time without any information being passed to the owner. Whilst the owner will do their best to inform any clients of any such taxes it will remain the clients obligation to pay these taxes if there is a legal requirement to do so no matter what the charge maybe.

17. Balearic Tourist Tax:

The Balearic tourist tax is applicable for persons aged 16 and over, collected by the owner. This cost is included in the total price.

 

18. Inclusions and Exclusions:

The cost of water, electric and WiFi are all included in the cost of your rental. Bath, hand and tea towels along with bedding are also included in the rental price. The property will be cleaned on your arrival and departure. No maid service is provided whilst here. Clean bedding, towels etc are delivered on a weekly basis. Pool cleaning is also provided and included in your rental price. Beach towels are not provided.

19. Occupancy and Subletting:

The property must not exceed the maximum occupancy of 4. Babies, children and adults are all deemed to be occupants.) Subletting is strictly prohibited.

 

20. Refusal of Access:

The owner reserves the right to refuse access or ask guests to leave if terms are violated, with no refund.

While efforts are made to describe the property accurately, minor changes may occur.
