Villa Bonita is based in Cala en Porter which boasts a perfect blend of untouched nature and vibrant amenities and is only 7km from the island’s airport.
The resort centre has 3 well stocked supermarkets, a medical centre and pharmacist. It is also host to a wide range of restaurants and bars where you can savour local delights. A visit to the mesmerizing Cova d’en Xoroi is a must; a unique cave bar, perched on the cliffs overlooking the sea.
With its golden sandy beaches (approximately 15 minutes’ walk) and crystal-clear turquoise waters, Cala en Porter beach is a perfect retreat for relaxing or, if you are feeling adventurous, snorkelling or kayaking. The beach has full amenities with public toilets, sun lounger and umbrella hire, along with a number of restaurants and a shop.
Villa Bonita is a gated detached villa around a 10 minute’s walk from the town centre. The fully enclosed mature private garden houses a private swimming pool with entry via Roman steps and a maximum depth of 1.8m. There is ample seating around the pool with sun loungers and garden sofas with parasols. There is a shaded porch area which gives direct access to the house. An outside dining area along with a wood-fired BBQ complete the outside.
2 bedrooms: Two spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms both with fitted wardrobes (1 x king size, 1 x twin).
2 modern bathrooms: One ensuite and one family bathroom both with WC, sink and shower cubicles.
Open plan living/kitchen area: Comfortable lounge area with a large sofa and smart TV. The villa hosts high speed internet suitable for multiple devices. There is a modern, well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, large American style fridge-freezer, toaster and kettle. Ceiling fans and floor fans keep this area cool.

There are thousands of houses like Villa Bonita on Balearic Islands and I’ve stayed in quite a few of them. Yet there is something magical about the house that makes it feel different and makes you want to come back there over and over again. Sarah and Ryan are the kindest and most helpfull hosts I’ve ever met. They provide so much information and organize everything in such a way that you feel like visiting your own private summer house the moment you put the key in the gate. Villa Bonita is comfortably located close to any amenities you can think of but far enough to get away from it all. Fancy a delicious paella, gelato or an evening drink? 5-10 min walk and the choice is almost too big. Need some eggs or cereals for a quick breakfast before going to the beach? You’ll be back from the supermarket before the kids brush their teeth. Want to go on a sightseeing trip? The car rental is so close you’ll be waiting in the car before your daughter decides which shoes she’s going to wear. But it’s not until you finally recline on a comfy sunbed by the pool with a delicious drink full of fresh lemons picked up in the garden that the magic of Villa Bonita really kicks in. Sunrises at the rooftop are something your kids will want to wake up early for and sunsets are even more unforgettable experience you will take home with you. Even though we have a pool at home it was impossible to get the kids out of the water, even for ice cream. Not once did they turn the TV on or touch their mobiles. If that’s not magic I don’t know what is.
We stayed at Villa Bonita as a family of two adults and two children. The villa is beautiful & very well presented with two spacious bedrooms (both with air conditioning) and the advantage of two bathrooms. The kitchen is large and extremely well stocked with crockery and cookware. There is plenty of room to enjoy eating indoors or outdoors. The lounge is airy with a very comfortable sofa and a large tv with patio doors to the terrace. The pool area and terrace is perfect for both sun and shade and the Roman steps are ideal for easy access into the pool. Theirs is plenty of luxury outdoor seating overlooking the private, secluded. pool. The location of this villa could not be better, close to the village but quiet and private. There is both off road parking and roadside parking. We highly recommend Villa Bonita.
The four of us (2 adults and 2 under 5s) stayed at Villa Bonita in August and had a brilliant time. The villa, pool and gardens are well presented and spacious. The children (and adults) loved the pool and the steps going into the pool made it easy for the children to get in and out. The pool area was well furnished with sun loungers, chairs and umbrellas and a large table ideal for al fresco dining (there is inside dining too). In the kitchen there a large American style fridge – so there is room for everything, a coffee machine and the filtered drinking water on tap made things so easy. Both bedrooms were large, had lots of storage space and air con. Having two bathroom was definitely a plus. The large tv in the comfortable lounge area had a fire stick so we could log in to our streaming packages when the children wanted time out of the sun. The village is a short walking distance (even for little feet) where there are a variety of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, gift shops and a park. Despite its closeness to the busier areas, the villa was quiet and felt secluded. We made use of the off street parking which was ideal with young children and enjoyed the privacy of the villa. The local beach is beautiful, has beach bars and toilets and there are kayak excursions if that’s your thing. The bus service is regular and if you have a car there are lots of other beaches a short drive away. We will definitely back.
Lovely Villa in an absolutely great location and very quiet, only a 5-10 minute walk to the supermarkets and the restaurant. The villa is spacious with a huge kitchen and lounge area. Plenty of seating and loungers outside, with the best pool that we just didn’t want to get out of. I would definitely recommend this villa, we have already booked next year.
